Now then, it's been a while since Easter and we still have bunnies in the house! So, I'll be melting down those little guys and making tiffin. It's super easy and very yummy:
Rachel's Tiffin
250g of chocolate (I like to use a little more dark than milk)
200g of butter (sets better than marg.)
2 tablespoons of golden syrup
200g of biscuits (digestives is classic, but oreos are great! - bash them up a bit)
300g of something else like nuts and dried fruit (classic is 150g of hazelnuts and 150g of sultanas....but dried cherries are amazing...and pecans too...you get the idea)
1 - line a brownie tin or similar with foil
2 - put the butter (in chunks), the chocolate (also in chunks) and the syrup in a pan and heat on its lowest setting, stirring constantly until everything is melted together.
3 - Pour over the biscuits, fruit and nuts and fold together till everything is covered (this helps it set). Pour into the tin and even out. Put in the fridge for around an hour, or until set, then cut into pieces.
Enjoy! :)
